On 19/8/1989 the high training school which is part of the Druze Orphan Care Institution has obtained the approval of the Ministry of National Education and Fine Arts to initiate its work and on 14/8/1991 the school continued its work under the name of Shouf Technical Institutition according to decree No. 1596 and it was allowed to invest the majors in the stages TS, BT, BP under resolution No. 91/321.

On 10/9/2005 , it was allowed to establish high technical majors for the stage LT, as well as Shouf Technical Institute was ranked as the High Technical Institute.
